Hot melts are short to describe as thermoplastics. Other then water- or solvent based adhesives hotmelts have a 100% solid content. Hotmelts are being used because of:

• Their fast setting
• Their versatile bond to materials (substrates)
• Their easy of use

Voor de productie van cd-hoesjes kunnen diverse lijmen worden gebruikt, één van de meest bijzondere is de transparante lijm waarmee de doorzichte tray op de omverpakkings is gelijmd.

Intercol HM 1567

is een transparante sterk klevende lijm die in deze industrie veel wordt toegepast. Overige lijmen die worden gebruikt voor cd verpakkingen kunnen zijn:

• Kartonnage hotmelt (HM 418)
• Hotmelt voor UV gelakt karton (Intercol HM Futura PLUS 503)
• Koudlijm voor UV gelakt karton (Intercol VA 611/4)
• Release hotmelt voor speciale acties

 

For the manufacturing of CD-cases Intercol has a special product to bond the transparent plastic trays (Intercol HM 1567). Also for UV coated cartons we have a special hotmelt (HM FP 503). Waterbased carton adhesive for several other applications are avaiable from stock.
