Caseine adhesives

Caseine adhesives are based on proteine that is being made from milk. Caseine adhesives are special because their rapidly increasing viscosity when the temperature decreases. This property is happilly being used in the labelling industry (especially labelling products that are cold or room temperature). By running the adhesive hot on the machine (30 until 40 degrees Celsius) it's good flowing on the machine, once it had the temperature shock on the bottle the label is pretty stiff bonded to the bottle (extremely high wettack).
